Classroom Management
My classroom management philosophy is based on Conscious Discipline which has four key components: conscious discipline brain state model, seven powers for conscious adults, creating the school family, and seven skills of discipline. I will implement these through the procedures and guidelines that are used in the classroom.
These skills will teach students to use socio-emotional and communication skills to develop authentic relationships, resolve conflict, and maintain behavior. As a class, we will integrate the school family through building a safe, welcoming, and personalized authentic learning classroom environment. I will encourage students to treat everyone with respect and dignity, to take a positive approach, and to model how to treat others.
